Andrew Garfield

Andrew Russell Garfield was born on August 20, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. His roles have included The Social Network (2010), The Amazing Spider-Man 2012 and Hacksaw Ridge, 2016. Garfield began his professional career with theater before making his television debut in the year 2005 with Sugar Rush and his film debut with Mumbo Jumbo. He achieved fame after his appearance on The Social Network in 2010 as well as in 2012 when he reprised Spider-Man's beloved character in the re-released version of the film, directed by Marc Webb. Ben is his older brother. He is the brother of American Richard Garfield & British Lynn Hillman. His family moved from the US to England at the time he was three. He went to school and lived in Surrey. It was at this time that he began lessons in acting a young age and took part in several school productions. The first step he took was into theater at the Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
