Noureen is born in New York City on 28 February 1984. The actress was always fascinated by acting as an actress. When she was enrolled at Boston University School of the Arts She began to lay the foundations for her profession. Noureen began auditioning for roles following her graduation. She was given a major role in the film West Bank Story. West Bank Story had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival of 2005, and it was also shown at many other festivals. The film won the Oscar in 2007 for Best Live Action Short Film and helped set the scene for Noureen deWulf's future success. In the aftermath of receiving global appreciation and attention in 1999 due to her performance in the film American Beauty, she rose to stardom. In 2001, she appeared in the well received film Ghost World (2001), which earned her an Golden Globe nomination.
