Anya Volz, a comedian from Vermont who is a resident of New York City. She has received praise from men from all over America for her witty comics that aren't preachy. She has written and created content in Riot Fest: The Hard Times along with Macaulay's Bunny Ears. Her appearances have been featured in BuzzFeed, Vulture, and at national festivals such as The Women in Comedy Festival in New York as well as the New York Comedy Festival. She hosts the Best Mistakes podcast with Brooklyn comedian Nika Lombazzo. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, along with Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist who is half English in half Spanish. Her father is an native of Argentina with Scottish as well as English origins is her mother. She has a Spanish and English-speaking mother was her mother. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings. One of them is from each of her parents' previous marriages. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria part in London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult and she didn't take the time to learn English and was hoping to go back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the changed schools from Northlands. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in the school's productions. She quit the high school aged 16 to pursue an acting career. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her goals were realized when she received a modeling contract by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
